When Life Give You Lemons....

When life gives you lemons, your best friends take them and throw an amazing "Main Squeeze" themed bridal shower!!

The shower was hosted by my wonderful friend Bailey and was held at her parent's beautiful home! Due to COIVD-19, we decided to keep the guest list short and sweet so we could celebrate comfortably. If you had an event planned or tried to plan any events during this time you know how difficult it has been to follow guidelines, deal with schedules, and maybe even worry about refunds. This day was perfect because it allowed family and friends to finally come together and even get a little dressed up after months of social distancing.

Let's get to the details of this brunch to start off with because the food was so yummy and so creative...

The mimosa and coffee bar, because any brunch time event needs mimosas and these are probably two of my favorite beverages. I have to take some time to highlight this beautiful DIY ice bucket that my friend Claire so cleverly put together!

Some of the foods included various pastries, bacon on a stick, mini chicken and waffles, mini avocado toasts, and more. It was all so delicious and I am still having dreams about the delicious blueberry lemon cake that was made for the special day!

We played games, reminisced on times together, talked about our "where we met" stories for all the married (and soon-to-be-married) ladies in the room, and of course we took A LOT of pictures.

I can't get over how special my girls have made me feel in the last few weeks and truly the whole time Noah and I have been engaged. I can't wait till I can repay the favor!

Now all that's left is sending out the thank you cards this week. I still love to send out thank you cards through the mail and a fun fact, I keep every card that someone gives me or sends me.
